The Position
Do you have a gift for developing close relationships and have a deep belief in the gospel? As an evangelism teammate in Romania, you’ll partner with veteran missionaries on our well-established team to share the truth of the gospel, meet unreached people groups and help establish new churches in areas where there is no gospel witness.
As an evangelism teammate, you will need to:
- Demonstrate exceptional knowledge and understanding of the Bible’s teachings, and be able to explain why cultivating a personal relationship with Jesus Christ is the only path to salvation
- Answer questions and encourage discussion about the differences between the evangelical church and Catholicism
- Bring a heart for missions work to Romania, as well as patience and determination to succeed
- Assist existing church leaders and ABWE teammates
- Develop close relationships within unreached people groups
The Need
Nearly every country that surrounds Romania is home to an unreached people group, and even within Romania there are thousands of villages where the truth of the gospel is unknown. ABWE’s goal is to bring hope and relief to the pastors and communities who are trying to accomplish so much with so little. We need to encourage church planting movements that spread from Romania to the ends of the Earth.
