Education Development Coordinator

The Position

We need innovative, results-driven solutions to the educational challenges that are facing South Asia’s communities. We want children to develop in their understanding, learn to analyze, study truth, and wisely make informed, independent decisions.

An education coordinator’s days could involve studying the culture and educational trends, visiting schools and programs, training teachers, and helping leaders to provide an excellent education which also points their students and families to Christ.

The Need

The great majority of the 650 million people living in this area of the world are Muslim, but a significant number of Hindu and Buddhist minority populations exist as well. For those who long to reach the unreached, it would be hard to find a more strategic location. People in this region of the world are eager for friendship, open to discussing spiritual things, and desperately in need of hope for the future. God has miraculously kept the doors to these Muslim-majority countries open, but access is limited. Development programs, businesses, and personal relationships provide unlimited opportunities to share the gospel and strengthen the outreach of our national partners. Join us as we provide meaningful ways to build relationships, bring development in new areas, meet felt needs, and point people to the One who gives true hope.

The Impact

The foundation of faith is understanding, and the foundation of understanding is education. As a teacher missionary, you have the unique opportunity to use their classroom as place of ministry. Along with teaching about grammar and algebra, they are able to disciple their students and point them to the ultimate teacher: Jesus. The world needs more teachers like you because we firmly believe a biblically-based education is integral in raising up strong followers of Christ.
