Opportunity

Construction Project Managers

Duration
Flexible (1 month to career)
The Position

The Project Office Construction Project Manager will oversee various construction and expansion projects taking place at our many ministry sites by determining, coordinating and overseeing plans and details for the assigned project in collaboration with the Project Office Director. Projects range from simple one-room churches to building and renovating current ministry properties, to complex multi-level medical and educational facilities.

This position can last anywhere from a week to career. In some cases, a manager may commit to stay at a project site for several years to see it through to completion. In other cases, they might fill in for one of our long-term managers who may need leave.

Current opportunities exist in:

  • The Balkans - A school that offers an English education utilizing a teamwork and leadership development style for children in grades 1 through 12.
  • Tsiko, South Togo - Hospitale Baptiste Biblique (HBB) - A full service medical center meeting physical needs to open the door to addressing spiritual needs.
  • Mango, North Togo - Hospital of Hope (HOH) - A full service medical center meeting physical needs to open the door to addressing spiritual needs.
  • South Asia - A large full service hospital and campus providing medical and spiritual care.

When a missionary field team envisions a project that would help provide meaningful ways for them to build relationships, bring development into new areas, and help meet needs within the community they are serving—the Project Office enlists architects and engineers to analyze and develop a plan, and project managers to see the structure from start to finish.

Once construction is ready to begin and throughout the process, our team works alongside volunteers and hired nationals, equipping and training them in the skills of building and maintaining the project. Our goal is to further demonstrate the love relationship of Christ in a very different way than these people may have ever experienced.
