Church Planters

The Position

We are looking for church planters and church planting assistants to partner with local leaders in strengthening the Peruvian church to become an epicenter for world missions. Our goal as a team to is promote, foster, facilitate and participate in world missions by partnering in local and regional church planting efforts. We want these efforts to lead to national and international church-planting movements.

The Need

The ABWE team in Peru is united with one vision: to plant and equip local churches and ministries with meaningful social and spiritual impact that will intentionally launch church-planting efforts with the ultimate goal of fueling world missions movements for God’s glory.

Our team is strategically located in four of the major cities in Peru: Iquitos (Amazon jungle), Chiclayo (northern coast), Lima (the capital) and Arequipa (southern Andes Mountains). In these four regions we are in proximity to about 40% of Peru’s 30 million people. Our mission field, however, is the entire world.

We need your help to equip generations of biblically-minded Peruvian believers who will not only plant churches and become missionaries around the world, but also generously sustain a global missions movement.

The Impact

Use your skills to help fulfill the Great Commission. As Christians, Jesus has called us to go and make disciples of all nations, and we believe that process isn’t completed until these disciples are gathered into a local community of believers: a church. Church planting is the heartbeat of evangelism, and it’s at the core of who we are at ABWE. It’s hard work, but for those called to the challenge, there is no greater reward on earth than watching a community of believers grow in their faith, and begin to understand their own role in the Great Commission.
