Church Planter

The Position

New churches are being started in network with existing churches right now in Australia. But the pace is too slow. More church planters are urgently needed to partner with Australians and evangelize congregations into existence.

The Need

Every year, 200,000 immigrants – mostly from China, India and the Middle East -- settle permanently in Australia. They are arriving to a country that originated as a godless convict colony and remains largely unevangelized. To reach only 1% of just the new immigrants, twenty new churches of 100 people must be planted every year. And that doesn’t even take into account the millions of unreached Australians who are already resident in the country.

The Impact

Christ is building His Church. It is the method by which the lost are reached, saints are discipled, missionaries are sent, and, most importantly, God is glorified.

Due to the ongoing global COVID-19 crisis, ABWE is limiting international travel of short-term missionaries originating from the US and assessing the level of risk per country per US State Department guidelines. To inquire about travel restrictions or exceptions, please contact go@abwe.org. We would love to talk to you!
