Watch: From Underground to the Unreached: The Afghan Initiative

Christians from Afghanistan in danger of persecution have a new opportunity to reach Muslim refugees in the US.

God has opened a new door to reach Muslims.

After the US withdrew from Afghanistan in August 2021, the Taliban quickly took control of the country. This left thousands of people exposed to terrorists, and Christians were in danger. Afghan pastors and ministry leaders were persecuted. Some were forced to flee for their lives. Still others gave their all for Christ because of their faith.

Families have been separated. Livelihoods lost. And the very fabric of everyday life has been changed forever.

But God is at work.

Through connections only the Lord can make, the ABWE global family of ministries has been able to connect with a precious group of these Afghan believers through Live Global and EveryEthne missionaries.

Now you can have a role.

Watch how you can help us bring these Afghan believers to the US where they will minister to Afghan populations here. They are uniquely qualified to reach our Muslim neighbors and we are so excited for what God will do.

From underground to the unreached, this is the Afghan Initiative.

Help Bring Underground Believers to the Unreached

When Afghanistan fell to the Taliban in August 2021, many Afghan Christians were forced to flee for their lives. The ABWE global family of ministries now has the privilege to partner with 11 of these underground church leaders and their families currently awaiting relocation in refugee camps. Through the Afghan Initiative, we can resettle them in strategic Afghan communities in the US and equip them to reach the lost for Christ.
