South Asia Slum Ministry

South Asia
In one of the slum neighborhoods of South Asia, the poverty of families who live on the streets is overwhelming. Lack of food, sanitation, education, and resources contribute to a cycle of poverty and heartbreak that is almost impossible to break.

However, our teams working in this neighborhood have accepted the challenge, and are providing resources for children and families.

Because education is central to breaking the poverty cycle, our team has focused on educating slum children in order them to get into college. Even though none of their parents have higher than a 6th grade education, every single student in our 2015 class was accepted at a local university — and the majority of them have accepted Jesus Christ.

WILL YOU HELP?

Despite their own poverty, many Christians in South Asia do all they can to help contribute to this ministry; however, it is not enough. Funds are needed to purchase food, blankets, clothing, and educational materials, as well as resources for a yearly kids camp.

Your support will allow our missionaries to continue educating the children in this slum so they might live a better life, and come to know Jesus Christ as their Savior.
