Pervasive drug and alcohol abuse, prostitution, and homelessness create an atmosphere of confusion and spiritual degradation throughout Chilean culture. Despite all of this, religious freedom is alive and well in Chile.

FLORECE — which means “to blossom”— brings hope to families facing crisis pregnancies in Chile, where abortions were recently legalized. Run by ABWE missionaries and national believers, FLORECE is the only known pregnancy center of its kind in Chile. Through free pregnancy tests, personalized maternity classes, Biblically-based peer counseling, and a “baby boutique” of infant clothing and items, FLORECE lovingly serves each woman, family, and unborn child they encounter.

FLORECE recently acquired an ultrasound machine, which will expand the ministry’s outreach even more, but the Chilean government requires certain building modifications to meet medical standards for this practice. With your help, FLORECE can find a permanent home and further its ministry in Chile.

"Purchasing our existing or similar property has become an urgent need to proceed with providing ultrasounds. We are specifically praying for a permanent home and for a full-time Biblical counselor."

- Stephanie Garcia, ABWE Missionary
