Dar Health Initiative

Tanzania

The Healthcare Center’s Impact

Located in Tanzania, the Dar Health Initiative focuses on all aspects of a person’s health. The health initiative cares for the Tanzanian people through community health education and prenatal education.

The Prenatal Center’s Impact

MamaLove is a pro-life program founded to serve pregnant women and their babies through prenatal care and education. Over a two year span, MamaLove has seen around 75 women.

The Dar Health Initiative has three goals:

  • health education,
  • disease prevention,
  • and gospel empowerment

It partners with local health professionals and community advocates to provide free education and prenatal care for the most vulnerable in the city of Dar es Salaam. It seeks to make long-lasting change through health education and awareness. Prenatal care, water-borne diseases, infections, HIV, wound care, and family health are a few of the topics taught in communities, built on the foundation of the gospel.
