Just think about it - over 69 million people in Thailand, over 8 million people in Bangkok alone, and only ONE PERCENT of them follow Christ. Thailand is such a unique country full of ancient history, royal splendor, delicious food and fun-loving people who need Jesus.
Right now we are helping to grow a Thai worship service in order to see them mature in their faith and reach out their community with the Gospel. It's exciting to see the Holy Spirit work in their lives - sometimes it's something new they learn from Scripture, sometimes a baptism, or someone giving sacrificially. With this same group we also just initiated a plan for a future Thai church plant in another part of the city - please pray for us and the people we are working with, that we would follow God's leading in it. We are also regularly working on creating written, audio, and video resources that really connect with Thai people. We are slowly building this up, and have just completed a video project based on the parable of the prodigal son. Please pray for God to open doors for the Gospel here and that the Thais would understand and received it as not just a Westerner's religion, but as it truly is, the power of God for salvation to EVERYONE who believes!
