Michael and Anna Cole

Togo

Mike and Anna (and their children) are serving the Lord in Mango, Togo. Mike is serving at the Hospital of Hope as a bedside nurse and as a nurse faculty member. In addition to being the primary caregiver for their children, Anna is involved in Community Health Evangelism (CHE), hospitality and member care ministries. Through these ministries they are able to share the everlasting hope found in Christ.

Mike is thankful to be able to use his skills as a nurse to bring physical comfort to those who are hurting. In doing so it opens the doors for spiritual conversations, as well. Mike and Anna also enjoy building relationships with the Togolese. Mike is able to build relationships with his colleagues at the hospital and the students at the nursing school, while Anna is able to build relationships with women in the community as well as those involved with CHE.

God has called us to physically serve in Togo. However, it wouldn't be possible without the support of others. Financial and prayer support is critical for the success of our ministries. Knowing that we have a team "back home" praying daily for us is what sustains us during difficult times. Financial support of missionaries allows them to get to the field (airfare, passports, visas etc), stay on the field (local residency requirements, vehicle purchase etc), and serve on the field (ministry expenses such as literature, printing costs, etc.). Financial support also provides a salary for missionaries.
