Japan

From the early age of 16, Katie felt the call to go to Japan and minister to the unreached. While patiently waiting for Japan's closed borders to open, she had been focusing on children's ministry and education. Finally, she is beginning her journey to bring the gospel to the Japanese people group. She is currently serving in Chiba/Tokyo, Japan. With high hopes of her future ministry, She has begun full-time language and culture training.

Speaking a people groups heart language is vital to connecting them to the gospel. The humility needed to learn a language not only shows love and respect towards them and their culture, but helps to cross any barrier that language creates. God's love for people all over the world is astounding and unexplicable. It is an honor to be able to learn how to communicate that clearly with the Japanese people group.

The Japanese people group is the second largest unreached people group in the world. With less than half of one percent of Japanese professing Christian it is vital for more missionaries to come and help spread God's word. The harvest is plenty, but the workers are indeed few. By God's grace, He has given us the chance to spread His loving gospel to the many untouched hearts that live in Japan.

Pray for my language study and for the gospel doors to be open. Pray for the many Japanese people who have not met God. Pray for the churches and pastors in Japan. As of right now, I am trying to get back on the field and back into full time language learning. So if God leads you to, please consider becoming a monthly supporter and partner in my future ministry.
