Glenn and Amy Barnett

United States

Glenn was born and reared on the mission field in Kenya and is a fourth-generation missionary. Amy felt the call to missions as a seven-year-old during a missionary’s visit to vacation Bible school. Glenn and Amy met in college, and after getting married and serving in their local church in California, left for South Africa in 2004. They served in South Africa for 13 years, primarily running a home for special needs AIDS orphans and vulnerable children. They were also involved in church planting, church strengthening, team leadership and community development. In 2017, they had to return to the USA due to visa issues, where they served for several years in mobilization before joining the Centurion Project.

As a part of EveryEthne (the north America division of ABWE), The Centurion Project exists to network and empower churches to support and strengthen military leaders in their mission and the Great Commission. Glenn serves as the administrator for the Centurion project, serving in communications and event coordination. He has also helped develop seminars called Operation Reach and Mission Restore that empower churches to reach military families struggling with military trauma.

The Centurion Project also partners with Warrior180 to turn lives around through the saving grace and love of Jesus Christ by providing help and hope to those who have served us in the military and first responders. We come to walk along side of those who have served us and educate those who have not.

In addition, Glenn also assists with data analysis for churches utilizing the Ministry Area Profile (MAP) services provided by EveryEthne.

Your regular giving is what allows us to continue to serve with the Centurion Project as we empower military leaders to become missionaries and stem the tide of veteran suicide.
