David and Sarah are involved in church planting in Northeast Brazil. Currently their main responsibilities are pastoring two church plants and growing their leadership. There is a third church plant in the works as well. Sarah uses her Masters in Biblical counseling within the church to encourage women in their walk with Christ. The Northeast of Brazil really needs healthy churches. Through growing these churches and being involved with other churches, the Carrels want to have a heavy influence on healthy church cultures in the region. Pray for a strong elder-led leadership that has unity and churches with a vision to plant churches.
