We’re seeking a committed Christ follower with a Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in education, with three years teaching experience to share the love of Christ with these little ones, while giving them a quality education.

The Need
God has opened a unique opportunity to minister in the country of Tanzania, located in East Africa, south of Kenya, on the Indian Ocean. Islam continues to spread down the African coast, leaving many north African countries closed to missions work. While Tanzania is about 30 percent Muslim, opportunities for ministry in Tanzania are still wide open. Right now is a critical time to plant new churches, strengthen existing churches, train up leaders and reach the youth. We are asking God to flood Tanzania with His gospel and to raise up Christians to shine brightly in the darkness.
The Impact
Haven of Peace Academy is an International Christian school with over 30 nationalities represented among the community. The school helps to facilitate the work of missionaries in and around Dar es Salaam. As a result, the Tanzanian church is strengthened, progress is made in church planting among some of Tanzania’s least-reached people groups, and the disadvantaged are supported. Serving as a teacher at Haven of Peace Academy enables this to continue, while providing the opportunity to shape future African leaders, serve missionary families, and witness to non-Christian students and their families.
Haven of Peace Academy is an English-medium school following a British-style curriculum that has been adapted to fit the local contextual needs. Haven of Peace Academy is accredited by the ACSI and Middle States Association, is registered as a Cambridge Testing Centre, and is a member of AISA.
