The Position

As a student intern working with our Argentina team, you will have the opportunity to serve in various ministries and be a part of God's work in Latin America. Our Argentina team is looking for student interns who love Jesus, are flexible and willing to help with whatever is needed, and love seeing people come to know Jesus Christ.

Must have basic Spanish.

The Need

Almost one-third of the entire population of Argentina live in the greater Buenos Aires area. The worsening of the country’s economic situation has deeply affected many Argentines both economically and culturally. And though most Argentines consider themselves Christians, religious practice and affinity is declining, particularly among the younger generation.

Over the past 30 years, with a vision for evangelism, discipleship and multiplication, ABWE missionaries have helped plant 22 churches in Argentina. In Buenos Aires, ABWE missionaries invest in a Pastor Training Center where future Argentinian pastors and missionaries have opportunities for leadership development and theological education. There are abundant opportunities for people who are passionate about sharing the love of Christ through evangelism, teaching, training and church planting in Argentina.

The Impact

ABWE missionaries have established a lasting legacy in Argentina. The testimony and work of faithful missionaries provides an amazing opportunity for new missionaries seeking to serve in Argentina. Without this foundation, a new missionary might easily spend the majority of his or her ministry years simply getting to know and gaining the confidence of Colombian pastors. The reality is that from day one a new missionaries benefits from deep relationships developed through years of faithful service by former ABWE missionaries as well as an established camp, pastors’ fellowship, and seminary.

Due to COVID-19, travel requirements for trips originating from the US vary by location. To learn more, contact us at go@abwe.org. We’d love to talk to you!
