Sports Missionary

The Position

We are looking for team members to come and engage hearts of children, young aduts and adults through sports evangelism and Christian care. You do not need to be an expert in cricket or soccer, but you do need to have a willing heart to love and care about the souls of the lost people of these twin islands. For the right candidate(s), this ministry could involve sports evangelism on both islands — since a short 20-minute flight gets you from one island to the other for only $50 round trip.

The Need

The islands of Trinidad and Tobago have a unique blend of Indian, African, Chinese, Arab and Caribbean cultures, impacting the traditions and beliefs of their people groups. The majority of people consider themselves religious and practice Roman Catholicism, Islam, or Hinduism, but many are trapped in addiction and spiritual brokenness.

Our hope is to transform communities by reaching future generations with the truth of the gospel. We seek missionaries who can offer theological education to local pastors and disciple new believers. In order to reach individuals, families, and communities for Christ, we need workers to serve in church-planting, youth and children’s ministries, leadership training, teaching, counseling, and sports programs. Is God leading you to serve the people of Trinidad and Tobago?

The Impact

Use your passion for sports and community outreach to make an eternal impact. From starting football teams to connect with local men, to opening a coffee shop ministry to reach university students, we know that sports and community outreach ministries start conversations and open doors to share God’s game-changing love.
