Tanzania Internship

The Position

We are looking for interns who can rise to a challenge, are open to new learning experiences and exposure to a diverse range of ministry opportunities. Interns will work closely with ABWE missionaries and Tanzanian ministry partners in various unique roles. Ministry work that interns would learn from include community evangelism, administrative work, teaching English or other topics, health education, disabled children ministry, sports outreach, urban farming, pastoral training, business training and product development as well as using any creative skills to enhance these ministries.

The Need

The ABWE team, The Grace Mission, includes 6 missionaries and Tanzanians who work together to expand the gospel in the diverse city of Dar Es Salaam. This large city brings opportunities to enter into Muslim communities in creative, Christ-honoring ways. We value taking time to build relationships and respecting the local culture. Interns will learn basic language and culture directly from Tanzanian ministry partners who are excited to share their knowledge and experience of ministry of their country with you.

The Impact

Our ABWE team and Tanzanian ministry partners have a unique opportunity to co-labor together in many different ways, all from one large ministry compound that we use to reach out into the city. We work together to help each other in ministry, expanding the reach of the gospel into communities and throughout Tanzania. We work together for evangelism, discipleship and church planting.
