International Outreach Leader

The Position

As the population in Japan continues to decline, workers from the rest of the world continue to increase. Workers from China, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Brazil lead the way in manufacturing and service industry jobs. We need fellow missionaries who will commit time and effort into reaching out to these workers. Many have some previous exposure to the Gospel and are more open than ever as they adjust to a new, and often difficult, environment.

The Need

Of the 126 million people in Japan, less than 1 percent know Jesus Christ. In fact, many have never met a Christian or touched a Bible. There are even people who have never heard of Christ. The few churches that exist in the region are fading, as they are small with aging leadership and members. The darkness continues to spread as the number of Japanese missionaries declines.

While the outlook is bleak, the message of God is strong. You can share your innovative ideas and use your God-given people skills to build key relationships, partnerships that uplift the community and bring lasting change. If you believe in Christ and have the passion to fight for His light in the country, we need you.

The Impact

Use your passion for evangelism and discipleship to make an eternal impact on the mission field. Every ministry we begin, every project we undertake, and every relationship we develop is geared toward sharing the good news of Jesus Christ. However, we know that simply sharing the gospel with someone is only part of our calling as missionaries: we’re also called to walk alongside them and make disciples. If you love Jesus and have a heart for the lost and hurting, then we have a place for you.
