Evangelism Teammates

The Position

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, ABWE has canceled most international travel originating from the U.S. until the State Department drops the Global Health Advisory to a Level 2 or lower. However, please email our Mobilization team at go@abwe.org to discuss service opportunities and exceptions. We would love to talk with you!

As an evangelism teammate in Southeast Asia, you’ll make a major difference in the eternal lives of urban residents. Join our established team and help develop new strategies to reach more Southeast Asians with the gospel.

As an evangelism teammate, you will:

  • Share your passion for Christ with members of the national church, minority peoples living outside the city and the English-speaking population
  • Encourage discussion of deep-seated spiritual issues and the importance of developing a personal relationship with Christ
  • Demonstrate a heart for spreading the gospel and a tireless energy for growing the church in Asia
  • Assist ABWE leadership during church planting efforts by developing new strategies that reflect Southeast Asia’s changing demographics
The Need

Buddhism plays an important role in the region’s culture. Buddhists believe karma controls their destiny, and they encounter spiritual powers on a daily basis. Several people groups remain unreached.

The Impact

Use your passion for evangelism and discipleship to make an eternal impact on the mission field. Every ministry we begin, every project we undertake, and every relationship we develop is geared toward sharing the good news of Jesus Christ. However, we know that simply sharing the gospel with someone is only part of our calling as missionaries: we’re also called to walk alongside them and make disciples. If you love Jesus and have a heart for the lost and hurting, then we have a place for you.
