Evangelism Teammate

The Position

Join ABWE as an evangelism teammate in Peru and help us proclaim the love of Jesus, disciple believers, plant churches, and ultimately launch missions movements.

As an evangelism teammate, you will:

  • Bring your love of people together with your love of Christ and develop relationships with nonbelievers in the community
  • Encourage nonbelievers to accept the Lord Jesus Christ as the one and only personal Savior
  • Have the heart for ministry and the patience to accept that mission work is painstaking — but extremely rewarding
  • Assist church leaders and fellow ABWE teammates as necessary with preaching and teaching, youth ministry, music, administration and other essential tasks
The Need

The Peru Field Team is united with one vision: we will plant and equip local churches and ministries with meaningful social and spiritual impact that will intentionally launch church-planting movements with the ultimate goal of fueling world missions movements for God’s glory.

Our team is strategically located in four of the major cities in Peru: Iquitos (Amazon jungle), Chiclayo (northern coast), Lima (the capital) and Arequipa (southern Andes Mountains). In these four regions we have access to over 40 percent of Peru’s 30 million people. Our mission field, however, is the entire world.

We need your help to equip generations of biblically-minded Peruvian believers who not only become missionaries around the world, but also generously sustain a global missions movement.

The Impact

Use your passion for evangelism and discipleship to make an eternal impact on the mission field. Every ministry we begin, every project we undertake, and every relationship we develop is geared toward sharing the good news of Jesus Christ. However, we know that simply sharing the gospel with someone is only part of our calling as missionaries: we’re also called to walk alongside them and make disciples. If you love Jesus and have a heart for the lost and hurting, then we have a place for you.
