Ministry Focus

Translation & ESL

To share the gospel, we have to use words. After all, the Romans 10:17 says: "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God."

That's why our missionaries make sure the life-giving words of Jesus are clearly understood in every culture in which they're spoken, and why translation ministries take place in every country we're in.

Since more than half of the world’s population can’t read or write, our missionaries often use gospel-based literacy programs to help people learn to read while sharing the good news of Jesus Christ.

Additionally, restricted access countries usually accept — and even recruit — people with skills in teaching English. These English classes foster friendships that eventually provide great opportunities for evangelism.

Use Your Love for Translation and Teaching English on the Mission Field

We need qualified people to come alongside indigenous speakers and bring a passion to help others understand the gospel.

We're also always looking for people who love language and are interested in teaching English or have training in Hebrew, Greek, linguistics, and other related fields to work on translation projects such as:

  • Audio-Visual Materials
  • Bible studies
  • English tutoring clubs
  • Good Soil evangelism and discipleship materials
  • Scripture translation
  • Study tools
  • Tracts

If you are passionate about Translating scripture and love teaching English, we want to talk to you.

Is God calling you to use your skills on the mission field?
