ABWE Partners With Moody Bible Institute in Strategic Educational Initiative for Global Missions

Harrisburg, Pa.: Association of Baptist for World Evangelism (ABWE), an international missions agency with a century-long legacy of evangelism, discipleship, and church planting, is partnering with Moody Bible Institute of Chicago to grant ABWE’s nearly 1,000 missionaries, church planters, and staff across the globe exclusive tuition awards for Moody educational programs.

Through the new partnership, ABWE’s global personnel will gain access to Moody Enrich continuing education online courses, undergraduate degree programs and certificates, seminary degree programs and certificates, and a BS in Integrated Ministry Studies degree completion program.

This partnership provides the ABWE team with mission-critical resources that empower biblically-faithful gospel outreach. ABWE is committed to equipping and training its missionaries with the most reliable and accessible educational resources, and its partnership with Moody advances that commitment. Along with providing staff and missionaries with tuition awards, ABWE and Moody will collaborate to create customized educational resources for development and training efforts, and Moody’s resources will aid ABWE in continued initiatives to fulfill the Great Commission and reach the lost and unreached with the gospel.

ABWE President Paul Davis states, “We are thrilled that ABWE can now offer our entire global missionary and force access to distinguished educational programs at preferential rates, reinforcing our commitment to equip them with profound biblical knowledge and practical ministry skills. Together, Moody and ABWE share a vision for seeing workers equipped and sent to serve in God’s harvest fields.”

“This is an exciting partnership for Moody because ABWE is reaching diverse cultures and people groups in more than 80 countries with the aim to disciple new believers and help churches multiply so they can reach their own nation,” said Dr. Dwight Perry, Moody’s provost and dean of education. “Our vision is to see the gospel proclaimed to every person, so we are humbled that ABWE has chosen Moody as their education partner to help staff and missionaries to be biblically grounded, practically trained, and to engage the world through Gospel-centered living. We are praying that God uses this partnership to reach the unreached and strengthen the Church globally to fulfill the Great Commission.”
