Job Summary/Primary Role: The Graphic Design Specialist will fulfill creative projects, designing promotional materials, publications, and graphics for print and digital channels, while upholding the ABWE visual brand identity and advancing the message of ABWE through visual expression. Serving alongside the Senior Designer, this person will also assist in administrative functions, interfacing with print vendors, and educating coworkers and teammates on the application of brand standard.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Creative design for print materials including magazines, mailings, brochures, and displays.
  • Designing graphics, documents, logos, and visual spreads for web and other digital applications.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements, messaging, and scope.
  • Assist in managing new project intake, assignment, and review processes.
  • Understand and communicate brand standards and guidance related to ABWE’s visual identity.
  • Interface with printers, design volunteers and contractors, and other vendors to implement brand standard and produce deliverables.
  • Utilize and help advance organizational digital asset management system.
  • Other projects or duties as assigned.


  • Ability to pass background check and all necessary clearances as mandated by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite programs and PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge of quick-turnaround design applications such as Adobe Express or Canva.
  • 1-2 years of experience in artistic, design, or marcom role with graphic component, preferred.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related field or equivalent experience, required.
