Job Summary/Primary Role: The Regional Donor Partnership Strategist will represent ABWE, Inc., in building long-term partnerships with churches and donors in the Mid-West region. By focusing on what God is doing through the ministries of ABWE, Inc., this individual will cultivate relationships with existing major gift donors as well as identify and encourage new donor prospects.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Identifying, qualifying and cultivating stewardship of major gift prospects and donors.
  • Conducting in-person contact with ABWE donors in the region to maintain or re-establish their relationships with ABWE.
  • Establishing new donors for the Global Gospel Fund as well as other large projects for ABWE ministries around the globe.
  • Producing well written solicitation proposals for individuals.
  • Participating in acknowledgement process of donors.
  • Providing briefings, donor reports, activity reports, solicitation plans and other requested communication for the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships including current projects and future actions planned.
  • Travelling overseas with donors one to two times a year to visit key ministry and building projects.
  • Travelling to the International Headquarters in New Cumberland, PA several times a year for meetings as needed
  • Making all personal appointments, travel arrangements and completing of expense reports.
  • Consistently using CRM software to document donor contacts
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • One to three years prior experience with demonstrated success in fundraising, campaign marketing, sales or financial services is required.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned region of the United States (at least 50% of the time) and overseas as needed.

  • Self-disciplined and exhibits sound judgement
  • Able to maintain information and documents that are highly confidential in nature.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing.
