Missionary Training at ABWE

Good Soil Evangelism and Discipleship: General Information

Location

The Good Soil Evangelism and Discipleship seminars will be held at the ABWE Administration and Training Center near New Cumberland, Pennsylvania. The check-in process will begin 30 minutes prior to the first session of each seminar. You will receive a name tag which will identify you as a registered attendee.

Daily Schedule

Good Soil Evangelism and Discipleship— November 5-6

8:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.—Morning session
12:30 p.m.–1:30 p.m.—Lunch
1:30 p.m.–5:00 p.m.—Afternoon session

Train the Trainer Certification for Good Soil Evangelism and Discipleship (November 7) will follow the same Daily Schedule as above.

Seminar Fee

$100 per participant (includes lunch, snacks, and instructional materials and other resources)

Certification Fee

$50 per participant (includes lunch, snacks, and instructional materials)

Accommodations

You will be responsible for arranging your own housing accommodations. To insure the availability of hotel rooms in the area, a block of rooms has been reserved at Best Western Inn & Suites in New Cumberland located at 702 Limekiln Rd. at exit 40-A off I-83. The ABWE 2007 contract rate is $52.00 per night, which includes a continental breakfast. You must call the local Best Western Inn & Suites at 717-774-4440, identify yourself as a participant in the Beyond Edge Seminar, and ask for the ABWE contract rate when you make your reservation. The block or rooms will be released on May 30th for the June seminar and October 17th for the November seminar.

Child Care

Please note that we can not provide or accommodate child care on site during these seminars.

Meals

Lunch will be provided at the ABWE Home Office each day you are registered and the cost is included in your seminar fee. Your name tag will be your ticket for lunch. You will be responsible for your own breakfast and dinner. A continental breakfast is provided at Best Western Inn & Suites. Several restaurants are within walking distance.

Transportation

Best Western Inn & Suites does not provide transportation to and from the Harrisburg International Airport. ABWE will not be able to provide airport transportation for these events. Please make all of your own travel plans.
