Wayne Haston, Ph.D.
Executive Administrator of International Training and CEIM Director
After six years as Director of ABWE Media Ministries, in July 2001 Wayne was appointed to lead ABWE’s international training efforts. Prior to his ministry with ABWE, he served for twenty nine years in a variety of local church staff roles, primarily in the areas of Christian education and youth ministry. Wayne was a seminary teacher for twenty two years and chaired a seminary Christian Education department for twenty of those years. He holds graduate degrees in theology and education.

Jim Ruff, M.Div.
Associate CEIM Director
After 4 terms of serving as a missionary in Japan, Jim returned in 1999 to serve as an associate in developing the Intercultural Training Center at the ABWE Home Office. He has recently been asked to develop a Missionary Resource Center at ABWE. He is involved in the Doctor of Ministries program at Baptist Bible Seminary, and he received an honorary doctorate in January, 2003.

David Heyd
Director of CEIM Graduate Studies
Dave and his wife, Jean, moved to the Harrisburg area in the fall of 2002 to volunteer at ABWE. Prior to his ministry at ABWE, Dave taught mathematics at Penn State Erie and participated in an authoring team that wrote college level textbooks in precalculus and calculus. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in mathematics education from Mansfield State College and a Master of Science degree in mathematics from the Penn State. Dave oversees the CEIM graduate studies program that provides accredited graduate credit for CEIM training through a partnership with Baptist Bible Graduate School and Seminary of Clarks Summit, PA.

Sharon Haston
CEIM Administrative Assistant
Sharon’s ministry at ABWE began in the Media Department, where she served as an administrative assistant for several years. At the request of ABWE administrators, she became the Administrative Assistant of the CEIM training division during the summer of 2002. Sharon is an MK from Central America, where church planting was a family affair. She has experience as an elementary school teacher and an educational therapist for the learning disabled.

Carolyn Haskell
CEIM Administrative Assistant
Carolyn began her ministry with ABWE in 1990 in the President’s Office, soon after she and her husband joined the ABWE administrative team. She moved to administrative assistant for the training division when it was established in 1997. Carolyn served as a college instructor for 14 years prior to her ministry with ABWE.
