CEIM Mission

Target Needs

  • ABWE pre-field missionaries who need to become adequately equipped for their appointed ministry roles.
  • ABWE administrative personnel who need organizational, leadership, and other types of administration-related training.
  • ABWE support staff members whose job skills and knowledge need further development for optimum productivity.
  • ABWE career missionaries whose ministry skills and knowledge need to be updated or expanded in order to maximize their effectiveness.
  • ABWE special skill professionals whose training & education need to be updated.
  • ABWE theological educators who need assistance in developing academically credible programs of theological education on their fields.

CEIM Purpose

The Center for Excellence in International Ministries (CEIM) exists for the purpose of creating a corporate culture of career-long, ministry-related learning in order to assure optimum effectiveness and efficiency for every member of the ABWE Global Team.

Objectives

  • Guide pre-field missionaries in developmental processes designed to prepare them for their on-field ministry roles.
  • Provide training for administrative personnel.
  • Provide training for support staff personnel.
  • Assist missionary administrators as they provide appropriate and adequate in-service training on their fields.
  • Provide or facilitate career-long, ministry-enhancing training for all ABWE career missionaries.
  • Assure that appropriate training is provided for special skill professionals, such as MK educators, medical personnel, aviators, etc.
  • Provide assistance in the development and enhancement of theological education programs throughout the ABWE world.
