Middle East

In the birthplace of the world’s three monotheistic faiths, Judaism, Christianity and Islam, Christianity makes up the smallest group, representing only about two percent of the population in parts of this region. In some countries, nearly 100 percent of the population claim to be Muslim. A growing number of immigrants and refugees make up a considerable part of the population. Recent revolutions and continued political struggles have led to open doors and opportunities to serve. Many are searching for what will bring them peace, hope, and truth. God sees their searching hearts and is revealing Himself in miraculous ways.

Our team has had the opportunity to see several individuals come to faith in Christ through our various initiatives and ministry platforms. Through compassion ministries including food distribution projects to refugee families and ongoing business employment opportunities, we have been able to meet the needs of suffering people and thereby gain an audience to share the truth. Through educational ministries in both public and private schools, we have been able to challenge the minds of young people and provoke longing for something more. Through counseling ministries, sports programs, and direct church involvement, our team has a rich reputation and history in the region. In spite of these activities and successes, the fruit has been slow in coming. The work is great, and the laborers are few. However, our team remains optimistic about the future. There is a unified vision of the work, and we are excited about the various ways God is allowing us to be a part of what he is doing in the Middle East.
