Imagine having a youth group numbering in the hundreds and nearly all of them are unsaved, having never heard the gospel. This is the opportunity that is now open in Australia. Public high schools in Sydney (grades 7-12) are required, by law, to have religious education and, if the principal agrees, are permitted to have an on campus school chaplain. Typically, this responsibility is delegated to local churches. A degree in Bible, pastoral ministry, or youth ministry is preferred. Theological training is available on the field.
