Our Arequipa, Peru team has an immediate need for Bible College and Seminary professors to teach in the areas of Bible and theology. There is a particular need for expertise in Biblical languages and expository preaching. A grasp of the Spanish language will need to be developed for an effective teaching ministry. A master’s degree or higher is preferred and is required to teach at the graduate level and to train Peruvian professors. The Bible or theology professor would serve on the faculty of the Baptist Theological Seminary. His responsibilities would include developing and teaching courses on an undergraduate level and helping to develop a new Master’s program. There is also an opportunity to assist with the design of internet/distance courses. We currently have a student body of more than 30 students and our plans are to increase the student body each year.
We specifically need teachers for the areas of biblical counseling and Christian Education.
