Pilot-Mechanic

Brazil

The Position

ABWE is looking for a missionary pilot to join the team in Brazil working with the Ticuna Indians and Brazilian nationals. Current ministries include evangelism and discipleship opportunities to river communities without organized churches, as well as supporting medical outreach, and evangelistic follow-up with ABWE’s mission hospital patients who have responded to the Gospel or expressed an interest.

ABWE’s Pilot Qualifications

The Need

While Brazil is both the largest Catholic and largest Pentecostal country in the world, it still has many unreached indigenous people groups in the Amazon region. Although Brazil as a whole is beginning to send out their own missionaries, there is still a great need for more leadership training.

For more than 70 years, our missionaries have been working with people from virtually every segment of Brazilian society. From isolated tribes accessible only by seaplane, to wealthy communities, to shanty towns on the fringes of cities, and everything in between — we’ve seen the gospel do amazing things in Brazil.

The Impact

Use your passion for aviation to reach the unreached. With aviation ministry, every flight has the potential to take the gospel further, enhance existing ministries, and save lives by linking hospitals and providing rapid and reliable flights. We need passionate pilots and mechanics like you to join us in taking mobile medical clinics, community health evangelism, women’s ministry, church planting, and theological training to new heights. Will you join us?
