Partners in Patient Care

The Ndungu Kebbeh Health Center in The Gambia, West Africa is looking for individuals and churches to partner with us in caring for our patients in this rural health center.  As a ministry of ABWE, we seek to minister to the spiritual as well as the physical needs of our patients, who are predominantly Muslim.

The Need for Partners in Patient Care:

An important element of caring for our patients in this poor African nation is to make health care affordable.  However, by making our services affordable to our patients, we are now losing about $35 per day.  With rising costs for medicine and supplies, employee salaries, and transportation costs for our ambulance, we anticipate the daily deficit to continue.  We are asking God to provide individuals and churches that are willing to partner with us in caring for our patients’ physical and spiritual needs through prayer and financial support.

Caring for Physical Needs:

Patients such as these come each day for acute and chronic illnesses as well as for immunizations and prenatal care.

Caring for Spiritual Needs:

As a result of the ministry of the health center and other ABWE ministries in The Gambia, individuals have come to study the Bible.  Some have already put their trust in Christ as Savior and are growing in their faith.

Kenya

Our ABWE Kenya Team is developing new inroads to those that are orphaned and affected by HIV/AIDS. We are anticipating the day we can build our first Community Center which will provide a place for Bible studies, activities and a quiet study atmosphere for many. It is also our goal that at least one church will be established utilizing the Community Center for its startup.

By making a contribution to the Community Center Building Fund, you will help provide a place where those affected by HIV/AIDS can play, study and fellowship with others in the community, while also hearing about our great Savior. Please consider a gift that will be used to help reach a great need in Kenya.
