HUNGARY
Steve and Cheryl Winget (furlough) received their two-year residency papers in April. They have visited several supporters, and two new churches have been added to their support team. Steve’s mother, Norma Winget, has been struggling for several years against the debilitating effects of pulmonary fibrosis, a degenerative disease that gradually destroys the lungs’ abilities to transfer oxygen into the blood stream. Though her body is weakening day by day, she and Steve’s dad are in good spirits and desirous of God’s good will and wise timing for her home-going.

NORWAY
Bob and MaryScott Burns. Please pray that more people will become teachers for the regular Bible school classes on Sunday. They also need Children’s church teachers and nursery workers/teachers. On every fourth Friday of the month, their church will host an event for family, friends, and neighbors. On April 25, they held a simple game night planned by the young adults. On May 23, they are sponsoring a talent night. Pray that many will come and meet and greet the church family. The hope is that their unsaved friends who participate will enjoy fellowshipping with the church family in a non-threatening environment. There are praying that relationships will be developed which will open doors to introduce them to Jesus.

HONG KONG
Chris and Maylin Hartwick’s church celebrated their first anniversary on April 13. Twenty-one people have received Christ in their church this first year. The church family is following a Bible reading program, and Chris is preaching messages that follow the content of what they are reading. Koey struggled for so long to believe the reality of Christ, but God opened her eyes and heart to the truth the day after her birthday, March 2 . The next day, they received a message from her that said this was the best birthday ever. Several members of the church are regularly sharing their faith. The church is seeking a permanent location for a worship and ministry center.
MONGOLIA
Becky McGregor. The director of Grace Hospice, a Christian group, which works with terminal cancer patients, has asked Becky to teach her staff English. Six of the doctors and nurses are interested in improving their English and have committed to faithfully attend the class two afternoons a week. The Mongolia team will have a two-week English camp again this summer. Pray for Beth and Anna, the teachers coming from the States to help with the program. Beth is on staff at Baptist Bible College in Pennsylvania and Anna is a senior who will graduate in May. Pray for the spiritual outreach of the camp and for the church to have a good follow-up program.
