Steve and Jan Trostle
Steve and Jan Trostle have 49 students enrolled at Good Hope Christian School. Steve is serving as principal again and teaching 13 third and fourth graders. Jan has organized the Learning Disabilities program and has begun with four students. Some of the men of the church are studying at the Church Ministries Institute and they will be taking a turn leading the Thursday night Bible study in the coming weeks. The church building is still a work in progress. At this point they have added a room on the front that is under roof, and they are filling it to the brim each Sunday morning.
Togo Collapse
The initiative and industry of the four million people is an asset to the ABWE goal of church planting. ABWE missionaries have found the Togolese people very responsive to the gospel, therefore, they are eager and zealous to open new ministries on their own. Church planters are needed to execute the plan to multiply churches in the urban centers.

Sharon Rahilly
Sharon Rahilly is in Ghana for meetings there that are very important to the initiation of a Community Health Evangelism (CHE) ministry in that country. She is working with January, the key person directing the CHE ministry in Ghana. The objective of the CHE ministry is evangelism and church growth; and that communities would be changed as villagers adopt lifestyles that will improve their total health. January and Sharon will be meeting with other ABWE Ghana missionaries, with members of a partnering organization, and with the chief and leaders of a nearby village. Pray for God’s wisdom in these meetings and for God’s clear direction in how to establish a CHE ministry in Ghana. Sharon will return to Togo on March 17.

Papua New Guinea Collapse
Papua New Guinea, a fairly youthful member of the world community of nations, occupies the Eastern half of the Island of New Guinea. The world's second-largest island stretches like a 1500-mile-long bird across the tropical Pacific. Its mountains and valleys, jungles, and South Sea shores are a tourist's and anthropologist's dream in today's progressive world.

Rich and Marcia Ernst
Rich and Marcia Ernst are teaching at Goroka Baptist Bible College. The new school year began on schedule, January 25. Marcia is leading a Practice Teaching class. Rich’s greatest challenge this term is in seeking to help a total of 20 third- and fourth-year male students learn to preach more effectively through his two Practice Preaching courses (one in English and one in PNG Pidgin). Marcia is making progress in the library. Presently, she is processing new books and seeking to train six of the students to work in the library. Pray that first-term missionary pilot, Joel Prigge, will receive his pilot’s license from the PNG government so he can begin his flight ministry. Funds are needed to complete an additional GBBC national staff house.

ABWE Team Slovakia attempts to glorify God by our personal conformity to Christ, by sharing the Gospel with the unsaved, by discipling those who receive Christ, by developing leaders, and by establishing reproducing Baptist churches. Three priorities demonstrate our commitment to national partnerships: speaking Slovak, local church involvement, and dependence on Slovak leadership.

Lloyd and Athena Peace
Bible classes resume in Betânia on March 15. Lloyd will be teaching Christology. Pastor Henrique has voiced several concerns that he would like help addressing. Discord amongst the deacons, unbiblical ideas about church discipline, and teachers of false doctrine coming into the village are just a few of his concerns. Lloyd has been asked to share with the church what the Bible has to say about false doctrine and those who propagate it. Lloyd started a midweek Bible study with the teen boys last month. They have had some well thought out questions. Many neighborhood kids come to the Peace’s house to play. They are praying about starting an organized ministry with them.
Chile Collapse
The capital city of Santiago has been the center of ABWE ministries for years. Santiago has a European lifestyle and many large shopping malls can be found in the city. Many nationally pastored churches exist along with a thriving seminary program with three annex ministries. The ABWE Team however is extending ministries to Northern Chile where a team of missionaries serves in the city of Iquique. The team will extend to the south with a ministry to the Mapuche Indians. Adelphos Chile, a national mission board established in 1993 with 140+ missionaries serving in nine countries of the world, contributes to an ongoing national mission’s movement for the glory of God.

Harry and Jan Gebert
The Geberts had been traveling extensively and teaching overseas. On Feb. 21, cold and flu-like symptoms which Jan had experienced for a few days worsened. In addition to the diffuse pneumonia, she is experiencing the effects of severe sepsis bordering on septic shock. Her condition is critical. Because she has been laboring for every breath over the time of hospitalization and in order to allow her to rest and fight the infection, she has been intubated, completely sedated and medically paralyzed. In preparation for transfer to the US on March 11, Jan had a tracheotomy placed. She is to travel by a special jet equipped with ICU machines, and a staff of 2 physician specialists and 1 pulmonary nurse on board. The next course in the states will involve clearing the infection from Jan's lungs. Once that is accomplished, Jan will need extensive rehabilitation to gain back lung function. Please pray for Jan's complete healing. Pray for God’s provision for the cost of the med-evac flight.
