Katrina Relief Update on Project Help the Shepherds

A needy family has lost everything in Slidell, Louisiana, and progress is moving forward for the building of their new house. We are now working on finalizing building plans, permits, and volunteer teams to construct the home.
Plans are to start the construction of a 1,200 square foot home around the end of September 2006, through October, with two teams from Michigan churches involved with the first phase of construction. South Baptist Church of Flint, Michigan, will be the first team, and Trinity Baptist Church in Alma, Michigan, will be the second. The interior finish phase will be completed by local volunteers from Faith Bible Church and other volunteers around the United States.
As God provides additional funds, we will progress toward assisting with another needy family in New Orleans and beyond as funds become available.
