ABWE Colombia Enjoys Rich Blessings
ABWE Colombia, in partnership with their Colombian brethren, just completed the most exciting chapter in the 30-year history of ministries in Bogota. Church fellowship meetings are celebrated annually and have been growing in numbers every year. This year was no exception. Six ABWE families and 650 national brethren from 20 churches joined to lift their voices in praise for the great blessings God has showered upon the ministry.
On Monday, August 21, all gathered at the Bogota Berean Baptist Conference Center to enjoy fellowship. A 30 voice choir sang praises to God. The 150 children joined together to participate as well with special music. Samuel Montoya was the special speaker. He was originally from Cali, Colombia until God lead him and his wife 42 years ago to a radio ministry, and he is currently the radio voice in Spanish for the late J. Vernon Magee’s Through the Bible series. The theme for the conference was “God’s Servants,” and the Lord used the speaker, the program, and the fellowship to bless all who were present.
The Seminary Annual Bible Conference followed with messages prepared for the hearts of those in attendance. Plans are already be made for next year’s conference.
