A dream is being built in Bahia
A dream is turning into reality this week in Luís Eduardo Magalhães, Brazil. Emmanuel Baptist Church is seeing God's hand and some of His choice volunteers at work as they raise a church building in four weeks. People in this agro-industrial town on Bahia state's western frontier don't think it can be done. But it will.
The church is receiving four one-week building teams from the Construction for World Evangelization ministry in Tampa, Florida. Bricklayers will start the work, then carpenters will cover the building, plumbers and electricians will make it functional, and painters and finishers will complete the project. And in four weeks, the congregation will move from the garage behind the missionaries’ house to its new, permanent home - To God's glory and the doubters' amazement.
