The Israelites remembered their great God by leaving memorials for future generations (Joshua 4:7). Our giving can be used in much the same way. When we remember the great mercy and grace that God has extended to us at the cross, we should be motivated to express our gratefulness through our giving. This kind of giving is generous and beyond our regular week-to-week giving.
Lifetime Giving
You can give gifts of cash, securities, or real estate to ABWE in exchange for lifetime income. It is a lifetime testimony of God’s faithfulness to you. Would you consider the possibility of a Gift Annuity? Rates are as high as 11.39% depending on your age. Or perhaps you would consider a Charitable Remainder Trust, which is an excellent choice where appreciated property is given.
Giving Through Your Estate Plans
Your will or trust can be another way of “remembering” by adding ABWE as a beneficiary to these documents. Your lifetime giving or giving through your estate plans will provide in a wonderful way for world missions. Read II Corinthians 8:9 then pray asking God what He wants you to do.
