I received and read the Spring/Summer 2009 Message magazine, and I want to thank you for it. I often talk to people about trusting God to meet their needs and mention people like George Mueller and others who saw God do amazing things simply by trusting Him, and I hear many times people reply something like, “Yes, that’s a good story. But I don’t think God works like that in today’s world.”
At the age of four, I was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Doctors said I had one week to live! That was more than 38 years ago. I guess you could say, it’s been a long week. People need to stop and realize that God is the same yesterday, today, and forever!

For more than 40 years, I have been receiving the Message magazine. The Spring/Summer 2009 issue [Missions and Money] arrived and I wanted to thank you for it. I believe this is one of the best issues that I have received over the years. I wanted to commend you and your staff. Obviously, the focus and theme of God’s provision is very timely.
