Togo, West AFrica —

If you were a missionary, where would you go? I believe you should go to Togo.
Here are some reasons why.
First, Togo needs missionaries. Why? Islam is growing and is starting to become bigger and bigger in the country of Togo. If Islam continues to grow, missionaries could have to leave the country and there would need to be Christian Togolese people there to carry on the Gospel of Christ. Also, animism (a religion worshiping the spirits) is huge in Togo. There is a great need for missionaries in Togo to minister to all these people.
Secondly, there are jobs available for almost every type of person. If you’re a doctor, there are two hospitals run by missionaries to help the Togolese people. If you’re a pilot, there is a new air strip and plane. If you’re a Bible professor, there is a new seminary beginning to train the national pastors and others. If you’re someone who works with blind people, there is a school for the blind. And if you’re not one of these things, there is always church planting and sharing the Gospel with all the Togolese.
Most importantly, you would have a chance to change lives! You could disciple new believers or even better…make one!
Set at least one goal to reach your friends and neighbors where you live now and if God calls you into world missions…go to Togo.
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20
