Dr. Warren Bibighaus

Dr. Warren Bibighaus, went home to heaven on Friday, May 20, 2011.

Dr. Bibighaus was appointed to the ABWE Advisory Council in April of 1959. He was elected to the Executive Board in 1962. Dr. Bibighaus was appointed to serve as ABWE's official medical advisor for missionaries and candidates in 1968 and served in that capacity until after his retirement from the board in 1990.

Dr. “B”, as he was lovingly known by the ABWE missionary family, (while a member of the Board Emeriti) continued serving in a volunteer capacity as medical director until 1994. Thus, Dr. “B” served the board and missionary family of ABWE with great distinction. He was awarded the Edward & Marian Bomm Award by Dr. Wendell Kempton for his service in 1986.

We are very grateful for his service and example.

A viewing will be held from 9 to 11 am on Wednesday May 25, 2011 at Haddon Heights Baptist Church, Third & Station Avenues, Haddon Heights, NJ 08035. Services will follow from 11 to noon.

Burial will be at Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to ABWE, Haddon Heights Baptist Church, or to the Prison Saints Ministry, PO Box 681, Moorestown, NJ 08057.
