La Molina Christian School

Ten years ago, the Paces had a burden and vision to reach the upper class of Peru. They desired to do this by providing a high quality school with the best teachers and education. Thus, La Molina Christian School was founded. The teachers at La Molina Christian School come from the United States and they teach in English. The goal of the school is to see Peruvians come to know Christ, to disciple them, and to channel them into a good Baptist Church in Lima. Over the years, the school has been very successful at this, as 20 to 40 people (children, teens, parents, and grandparents) are saved each year.

The Pace's are celebrating ten years of ministry in Peru and are in awe of God´s grace over the years. They look back and see God´s hand in the school, in the church, and in every ministry in which He has allowed their participation.

They rejoice at the number of children, parents, and grandparents who have come to Christ through the ministry of La Molina Christian School. Even more amazing is to know that these new and growing Christians are being equipped to transform the world!

La Molina Christian School had three specific goals for this year. First, They desired an enrollment of 220, and God gave them that many students. They wanted to begin a preschool program to train mothers how to rear and teach their own children. This program has begun and now has 14 mothers enrolled. Their third goal is to purchase land and hold their first high school graduation on their own property. After ten years of praying, if all goes well, they will be able to purchase two lots very soon. Lord wiling they will then begin the first phase of the construction and have the building ready in 2007.

The school has plans to begin two kindergarten classes, two first grades, and two second grades. Pray that the Lord will provide an experienced, bilingual Academic Director for the school as well as six new teachers from the United States who are qualified to teach, but they do not necessarily have to have teaching degrees. Most importantly, pray earnestly for the salvation of all of our students and their families.
