The Christian school teachers employed by our Togolese churches are the lowest paid of any full-time church employees. Since half of these elementary schools are new ministries, the churches just cannot pay salaries anywhere near established school or government school wages. Illness means months of debt, or worse, leaving full-time Christian teaching to take a secular job. Sometimes a matching or partial gift of $50 - $200 will make all the difference in retaining or encouraging a trained Christian teacher. Want to help the really needy of the “household of faith”?
