For nearly thirty years our missionaries and friends of ABWE have invested in a special fund to assist missionaries and partners with special projects all around the world. This Project PACE has made grants from $1000 to $10,000 to help churches, Bible training institutions, partnering agencies, ministry programs, and other activities with more than $1 million in total distributions to date. Special emphasis is given to ministries and programs which do not have access to other funding sources, and grants are often directed to getting a project started or bringing it to completion. Recent grants helped with our international theological education ministry, capped off the capital campaign for improving a hospital in the Philippines begun by ABWE and now led by a local board, and assisted a partner seminary in the Philippines also begun by ABWE.
Because of economic conditions over the past two years, giving to this fund has diminished. Most donors contribute monthly, but many give one-time or occasional gifts. Would you prayerfully consider making a one-time gift to the PACE fund or becoming one of its monthly partners?
