The ICP training is critical and effective in our church planting and mission movement strategy in Nicaragua. Every couple of months the local pastors and students come to the center for two or three days of intensive training. Then they return to their villages or neighborhoods to put into practice what they are learning. Using this method, they can complete the course in just over two years.
ABWE subsidizes the cost of training by providing training materials, room and board during the training sessions at the ABWE Ministry Center near Managua. The cost per student of the two year course is about $400. We currently need scholarships for 30 students, a total of $12,000—a very small price for the joy of partnering with our national brothers to start 16 churches!
