The great missionary statesman, C. T. Studd once said, “Some wish to live within the sound of Church or Chapel bell; I want to run a Rescue Shop within a yard of hell.”  We could think of no better place for a “rescue shop” than AIDS-torn South Africa.

Located in the AIDS hotspot of the world, South Africa is overwhelmed with an ever rising death toll.  The abuse and neglect of dying people is horribly common which creates a need for a home away from home.  This project will build that home.

We will be assisting Calvary Baptist Church, started by missionaries and now nationally led, to love their neighbors by building a 4 bed, non-medical, HIV/AIDS hospice care center on their church property.  We and our church desire to demonstrate Christ’s compassion and live out the gospel by welcoming these people with open arms and loving them until their last breath.  It is our desire that God will use His Word of Truth, daily backed up by a display of loving actions, to bring people to a saving knowledge of Himself.
