The WKMMC is desperately needed. Health care is a concern to many in the United States, where there are 256 doctors to each 100,000 people and many don’t have insurance. Imagine then how much more difficult things are in Togo—a place with only 4 doctors for each 100,000 Togolese, many who can hardly pay. You can help. As Dr. Loftis noted in his Partner Update letter, construction on the complex, named in memory of our beloved former President, is underway. More than 4,000 Togolese attended the groundbreaking in October 2009, which was chronicled in the Winter 2010 issue of the Message magazine.
