Foundations & Disciplines of Biblical Spiritual FormationBecoming the kind of person that reflects the character of ChristTaught by Keith Kettenring, Ph.D. God’s goal for every believer is to be conformed to the image of His Son (Rom 8:29). Can this actually happen or was Paul merely waxing doctrinal? This module introduces “spiritual formation” as the Spirit-driven process that God uses to transform our inner being so that “Christ is formed in you” so that “[you can] do the works of Him who sent me [Jesus] while it is day.” Participants will be invited to consider a comprehensive understanding of sanctification while engaging in practices that help meet the longing in our souls to know God and ourselves more fully.
