Missionaries who have taken this module in the past have said this is a must course for anyone ministering in a country with a heavy Catholic population. The instructor will give practical, biblical guidelines he has developed over 20 years of front line evangelism in many different cultures of the world. He will objectively identify and expose the fatal errors of Roman Catholicism using the supreme authority of God’s Word. Presenting the truth in love, he will show how Roman Catholics worship and trust another Jesus and believe another Gospel. The course will also expose the Vatican’s well defined strategy to unite all of Christianity under the power and influence of the papacy.

Foundations & Disciplines of Biblical Spiritual Formation

Becoming the kind of person that reflects the character of Christ

Taught by Keith Kettenring, Ph.D.
Boyer Room #334

God’s goal for every believer is to be conformed to the image of His Son (Rom 8:29). Can this actually happen or was Paul merely waxing doctrinal? This module introduces “spiritual formation” as the Spirit-driven process that God uses to transform our inner being so that “Christ is formed in you” so that “[you can] do the works of Him who sent me [Jesus] while it is day.” Participants will be invited to consider a comprehensive understanding of sanctification while engaging in practices that help meet the longing in our souls to know God and ourselves more fully.
