Vacation Bible School Themes
Why should we reach out to Muslim children?
- To show the love of Christ to all nations.
- Because so many have never heard that Jesus Christ died on the cross, was buried, and rose again.
How do our Vacation Bible School kids get involved?
- Pray for children in Turkey.
- Plan your 2008 VBS offering to go to "Operation Turkey."
- Write to Jim Cook at jcook@abwe.cc for promotional materials (if needed).
- At end of VBS, send church check to Next Generation Ministries, ABWE, Box 8585, Harrisburg, PA 17105.
- Make check out to "Next Generation Ministries" — in "memo" write: Account #013335-020.
How will our VBS offering be spent?
All funds designated for "Operation Turkey" will be spent on reaching and discipling children who live in Turkey. Training for Turkish children’s workers will also be included in this project.- If designated funds for “Operation Turkey” exceed the budget for this project, these funds will be used for the same purpose of reaching and discipling children in other parts of the world.
